• Graco Safeseat (step 1) for infants

    12 August 2008

Graco safeseat – (Step 1) – is part 1 of a 3 part system.  This Graco safeseat is for infants in a rear-facing position.  Its selling point is its ability to hold babies up to 30 lbs and 32 inches tall.  Many babies in their first year outgrow other carseats because those carseats would fit only 22 lbs or 22 inches tall.  A bit of long term planning may mean the Graco safeseat is a better bargain.

The system is built to meet or exceed all U.S. safety standards.  It’s also got a special 5-point harness with a front adjustment for buckling that's quick and convenient to use. As well, the Graco Safe Seat (Step 1) has a 180-degree rotating sun canopy and removable head support.

The SafeSeat also doubles as an infant carrier, so the ergonomic handle comes in handy and makes it easy to carry.

In addition to its safety design, the Graco safeseat didn’t forget about your baby’s comfort.  It has EPS energy absorbing foam liner, a deluxe seat pad for comfort, and a removable infant head support for a total solution to your traveling needs.

The biggest complaint on this? It's bulky and heavy.  But then what would you expect when it can fit a baby all the way up to 30 lbs.

It's selling at babyearth for a very reasonable $169.95.
