Checklist for road trips
If you are traveling with your baby by car, you can bring quite a bit more compared to flying. While you should still resist the urge to bring everything but the kitchen sink, you do have a little more room to pack a few extra essentials:
- A fully packed day trip bag
- Car seats or booster seats
- A travel potty
- A travel cot/bassinet/playard if you are staying overnight
- Water and juice
- Baby food and snacks
- Clean bottles and nipples
- Pacifiers
- A bottle and food warmer
- A baby mobile or crib toys
- Blankets and pillows
- CDs or DVDs, Portable DVD player, MP3 player, books
- Sunglasses
- An extra set of car keys
- Cell phones and chargers
- A large umbrella
- Sunshade for rear windows
- Flashlight
